Bring the Midea PortaSplit (on the smart VLAN as net_ac_0D90, 60:7a:d8:8c:0d:90) into Home Assistant as a climate entity, controlled locally.

Install the Midea Smart AC custom component (mill1000/midea-ac-py, midea_ac), which supports the PortaSplit.
Give the unit a fixed address so the integration's configured host stays valid.
Device onboarding (token/key from the Midea cloud) is a one-time UI step.
